Business Ethics Code of Conduct

Since Ball's very beginning in 1880, integrity has always been a key component of “who we are” at Ball Corporation. Ball employees are proud of our Company’s culture of ethical behavior and our record of corporate compliance. The Ball Business Ethics Code of Conduct applies the Company’s corporate values to the day-to-day business situations our employees face worldwide. At Ball, we believe compliance is more than simply obeying the law and that integrity and ethical conduct are just as important.

The Code is designed to identify common compliance issues and to provide clear guidance and resources to help Ball employees make the right decisions. However, because the Code cannot anticipate all the issues employees might face, if employees have any questions about the Code or about a business ethics concern, they should contact their supervisor or the Law Department. At Ball, we are committed to conducting all of our business affairs using high ethical standards and in compliance with all laws, rules, regulations and Company policies.

Reporting Business Ethics and Compliance Concerns

Ball’s commitment to a culture of Uncompromising Integrity and business ethics is one of our core values. We believe that doing the right thing every day defines our company culture and how we do business. To maintain our compliance standards, we encourage our employees and business partners to take an active role in compliance. If you are aware of conduct or business practices that do not fully reflect our organization’s core values and Business Ethics Code of Conduct standards, SPEAK UP!

You can report your concerns anonymously (where local law allows) through the Compliance Alliance Hotline. Our hotline is managed by an independent third party and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Compliance Alliance Hotline is available to Ball employees, as well as suppliers, customers, and others in a business relationship with Ball. Investigations will be conducted impartially, discretely, and respecting the confidentiality of involved parties.
