Ball’s Responsible Sourcing Framework ensures we keep our sustainability goals front and center in relationships with suppliers. Ball has implemented various sustainability programs and identified key initiatives aimed at promoting and improving product stewardship, social impact, and economic viability.

Ball’s Procurement organization is focused on helping Ball achieve its sustainability goals through:

• Supplier commitment to fulfilling Ball’s Supplier Guiding Principles, which set forth Ball’s expectations around business conduct, working conditions, employment, child labor, wages and hours, diversity, freedom of association, and environment; 
• Working with suppliers to drive sustainability innovation in the industry through initiatives such as the Aluminum Stewardship Initiative and Cradle to Cradle certifications; and
• Including climate leadership, material health, resource efficiency and diversity and inclusion related metrics into all supplier contracts.
